A pet memory box gives your lifelong friends the collar, worn-out toy, and the tag that used to jingle at the door somewhere safe to stay together. Each box is personalised with your pet's name, and most have a space on the lid for your favourite photo of them. The pet memorial boxes are designed for dogs, cats, and every other friendly companion that shared your home with you.

If you need room for larger items, select from our of our large pet memory boxes with raised lettering. Or, for something more personal, select a wooden keepsake box that displays their picture. These are engraved by the UK Gift Store Online team, and designs can carry lines such as "Forever Loved" or "Left pawprints on our hearts", for families who want words they can read each time.

You'll find more ways to remember them in our pet memorial gifts, and dog owners can browse the full dog memorial gifts range.

What to keep in a pet memory box

Families tend to begin with something their pet wore or carried with them every day: a collar, name tag, favourite top, or a brush that still holds a bit of fur. Some families keep the pets paperwork too, so an adoption certificate or vet card from their appointments can also be stored.

Large pet memory boxes

A cat might only leave behind a collar and a few toys. A dog often leaves a bed blanket, several leads, and years of pictures. Our large memory boxes are made for the latter situation. If you're uncertain, we'd recommend choosing the larger option: it's easier to leave space in the box than to run out of it.

Memory boxes for pet ashes

If your pet has been cremated, you might want to keep their ashes alongside their belongings. Our personalised wooden dog creation urn with photo is made specifically for this. Check each products description to see wheteher a box is designed for ashes, or keepsakes only.

Choosing the right design

  • Photo lid: best if you want to see their face each time you open it.
  • Raised lettering: shows their name boldly, and reads clearly on a shelf from across the room.
  • Engraved message: suits a short line that sums them up, or words the family always said to them.

Looking for a tribute to place outside? Our memorial slates include a range of garden markers that are weather-proof, so you can display these where your pet liked to lay in the sun. If you'd rather have a photo on display, browse our memorial photo frames.
